Past Client-Denny Called For New Head Shots.

I received a call out of the blue yesterday from a past client, Denny. A really great actor, who is working hard on his career. He is looking for new head shots, so we booked him in for a shoot. We had a great time shooting his last head shots, and I am really looking forward to our up coming shoot. I told Denny that I have my new Canon 5d mark 2 camera, and he is excited to see the amazing photos this camera produces.

I just finished a flash banner which I will be using on La Casting to promote my head shots. Hello All,

I was very busy over the weekend with head shots, Friday, Saturday and Sunday, and loved every minute of it. I am so grateful for being able to spend time with these amazing people and get some really great head shots. I decided to take some video from the shoot on Sunday with Stephanie, dust off my mad Final Cut Pro skills and and post it online as a promo trailer for ScottStewartPhotography.com. We also used a new make-up and hair person and she was great! You can see her in the promo video.

On a side note, I recently did a dog photo shoot with a great little pomeranian, named Bobby Gorgeous ( is that not the best name ) you can see the pix here: www.WorldFamousDogPortraits.com. Anyway, Bobby's mother submitted the photos I took to City Dog Magazine, and they have chosen a photo to be on the on the COVER!!!! A lot of people have asked if I photoshoped the glasses on - the answer is no - that's all Bobby!!!

My New Canon 5d Mark 2

I am very excited - I just purchased this past weekend Canon's new super hot camera, the 5d mark 2. I also got a great head shot/portrait lens - the 85mm f1.8.

It was amazingly difficult to get a hold of this camera. With my friend Weston, we went to the big camera stores , Samys, and Calumet and once the salespeople stop laughing at us - thinking that it would be in stock - they told us there is almost a month long waiting list. I also tried Best Buy and finally found one in Manhattan Beach at Fry's. Then raced back to Bell-Air Camera in Westwood by 5:54pm Saturday pm - gotta love the 405 on a Saturday afternoon - and purchased the great lens.

I have tested my new camera several times and I have gotta say the images are stunning!!! I am so looking forward to shooting my next head shot client.
